How to choose your Zimbabwe circuit?

The choice depends first on available time and the regions you wish to combine. A 8 to 12-day format already allows you to combine Victoria Falls, Hwange and Mana Pools, prioritizing domestic flights to save time. On 18 days or more, you can add the Great Zimbabwe ruins, Matobo park near Bulawayo and possibly a few days in the Eastern Highlands or an extension to Botswana or Zambia. Our team adjusts itineraries based on seasons and your pace.

Different circuit types

We design three main families of itineraries. Cultural circuits focus on Great Zimbabwe, the rock paintings of Matobo and the colonial cities of Bulawayo and Harare. Adventure circuits include walking safaris at Mana Pools, canoeing on the Zambezi, hiking in the Eastern Highlands and rafting in the Victoria Falls gorge. Family circuits prioritize child-friendly lodges at Hwange and Victoria Falls, with supervised activities and a gentler pace between game drives.

What is the best season?

The dry season runs from May to October, the most effective period for wildlife viewing: low vegetation, animals concentrated at water points, accessible tracks. July and August offer cool nights around 5°C at Hwange. September and October are hot, up to 38°C at Mana Pools, but wildlife density is exceptional. The green season from November to March suits birdwatchers and photographers, with peak Victoria Falls flow in April-May.
